I listened to your story and the tapes of your friend on my way home from work last night.My dad was in the korean war, and I have some cousins that were in the vietnam war,but as ususal none of them say much about the war. I felt like I was standing their with you two as your camp was invaded. I never thought anything could get to me like those tapes did, when your friend was shot I felt tears coming down for someone with whom I had never heard of before then. Thank you for helping me to understand more of what my dad,who also died when I was 24 years old from cancer, and my cousins went through.
