Implement a flat income tax

Implement a flat 15 percent income tax on all income over $30,000 per year. No exclusions, no exemptions. With the resultant influx of revenue into the United States treasury, we can balance the federal budget, implement public works projects rebuilding crumbling infrastructure, and put people to work. That should reduce poverty for anyone willing to work.
