The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in St. Paul, Minn., sponsor medical clinics throughout the Twin Cities area. Volunteers (doctors, nurses, registrars, and interpreters of Spanish) staff the clinics, and provide evaluations for acute and chronic conditions, lab tests, and medications for people who meet certain income and other criteria.
